Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user of a wheel chair possible to sit comfortably for a long time, by constituting a seat of a seat framework and a cushion body with a sufficient thickness to be mounted on the top surface thereof, and attaching the seat framework vertically rotatably to the side part frameworks with one side of the left and right sides thereof as axis.
SOLUTION: A seat 23 comprises a seat framework 24 and a cushion body 25 to be mounted on the top surface part thereof and the cushion body 25 is built with a sufficient thickness so that the top surface of the cushion body 25 is made almost the same as or higher in position than side frame parts. In the seat 23, one side of the left and right sides threrof is mounted on side part frameworks 6 so as to be rotatably about the axis thereof longitudinally and the seat 23 is supported horizontally by support members at internal parts of an upper frame part on the side of the side frame parts. A linkage mechanism A is provided. When the seat 23 is turned with the one side of the left and right sides as axis and the other side upward, the side part frameworks 6 approach in linkage therewith and in linkage with this action, the seat 23 is turned downward.
