Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an accuracy of the wheel diameter specified based on the number of revolutions of the wheels of the train.SOLUTION: A speed electrical generator 13 outputs the P number of pulse signals during one rotation of a wheel 51. An information processing unit 11 counts the number of pulse signals outputted by the speed electrical generator 13. When a measured value of the pulse signal reaches (P×N), the wheel 51 determines that the wheel rotates the N number of rotations. A speed meter 12 measures a traveling speed of the train 5 at a predetermined time T. The information processing unit 11 accumulates a value multiplied by the predetermined time T for each of the traveling speed measured by the speed meter 12 during the N number of rotations of the wheel 51 and specifies a traveling speed L of the train 5. The information processing unit 11 calculates a wheel diameter D of the wheel 51 by dividing the traveling distance L of the train 5 by the N number of rotations and a circle ratio π of the wheel 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
