Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a wheel driving section by, in a device where a cast speed reduction case having a built-in reduction gear is connected to a cast transmission case having a built-in differential gear, forming a brake receiving space in the speed reduction case into a state where a brake is assembled from its inside.
CONSTITUTION: A differential gear 2 is provided inside a cast transmission case 1, and a gear type reduction gear 6 and a multiple disc type brake 7 through which the output shaft 4 of the differential gear 2 is connected to an axle are provided in a cast speed reduction case 3 bolted to a transmission case 1. The brake receiving space of the speed reduction case 3 is formed into a state where the brake 7 is assembled from its inside. Namely, before attaching the speed reduction case 3, a brake operation shaft 8 is inserted from its outside, and a movable sandwich-holding member 11 pushed by a pressing ball 10 with a rotary operation caused by the operation shaft 8; a disc 12 and a ring 13 for braking; and a fixed sandwich-holding member 15 are assembled in order in the speed reduction case 3 from its inside, and then the speed reduction case 3 is attached to the transmission case 1 and bolted.
