Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a slip factor of the road surface and a tire correctly with simple control algorithm by providing a means for setting a switching functions time-integrated, and a means for determining the driving torque target value according to the value of the switching function.
SOLUTION: In the case of the depressing angle of an accelerator pedal being the specified value or more, driving force control routine is executed. Driving wheel speed xwi(t) and body speed xv(t) are read, and a judgment function σi to the speed of each driving wheel is computed in an expression I, where ηis the specified value determined from the target value of a slip factor of the road surface and a tire. A switching function Si(t) is then computed in an expression II, where (t) is the present time, and ki is a predetermined positive constant. The computation of expressions III, IV is then executed to compute the driving torque target value ucmdl(t) of each wheel, and throttle opening is corrected so that engine torque TE coincides with an expression V. The behavior of a vehicle at the time of acceleration is thereby stabilized, and accelerating performance is improved.
