Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a transmission case for wheel and enable rocking against the chassis through simple structure by coupling a pair of sidecase sections associated with an axle through a coupling member and pivotably mounting the chassis and the coupling member. CONSTITUTION:A transmission case 7 for a vehicle is formed with a center case section 7a in the lateral direction of chassis and a pair of sidecase sections 7b extending independently downward from the right and left end sections of said section 7a while facing downward and associated with an axle 9 at the end of extension. Here, a pair of said sections 7b are reinforced by coupling through a coupling member 10. The boss section 7c provided with an input shaft 11 of said case 7 is pivoted to a stay section 8a at the front side of chassis 8 wile the coupling member 10 is pivoted through a coupling shaft 12 to a stay section 8b at the rear side. Consequently, the case 7 can rock against the chassis around an axis P in the forward/rearward direction of chassis which is same with the input shaft 11.
