Abstract:
To provide a structure for a wheel hub and a corresponding brake rotor, which can mount the wheel hub, a rotor and a bearing assembly to the inside of a steering knuckle without removing a brake motor out of the wheel hub.
In this wheel hub flange having a cut-out hole or an scallop shaped cut-out hole and of a brake rotor assembly having an scallop hole the scallop shaped cut-out holes, are useful for operating a bolt head part directed outward of a bearing flange with respect to a knuckle bolt 36. By this structure, prior to the installation of an integrated assembly to the inside of a steering knuckle 12, after a brake rotor 46 is mounted to a wheel hub 26, the brake rotor 46 can thereby be machined.
