Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of separating part of a speed reduction mechanism with a slight displacement amount and reducing an external force necessary to rotate a wheel when the wheel is to be rotated by the external force.SOLUTION: This wheel-in speed reducer 1 comprises: a sun roller 10; a plurality of planetary rollers 20; and an internal ring 30. The planetary rollers 20 revolve while rotating on their axes by receiving power from the sun rollers 10 while contacting both the sun roller 10 and the internal ring 30. With this configuration, a rotational motion of the sun roller 10 is converted to a revolution motion at a lower revolving speed than the rotation motion so as to rotate a wheel 70. Furthermore, if a wheel 70 is to be rotated by an external force, a release mechanism 80 releases the planetary rollers 20 from the internal ring 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
