Abstract:
To enhance rigidity of a rim, particularly an inner rim section, so as to reduce weight.
A wheel 1 for vehicle made of a light alloy with the inner rim section 2 and an outer rim section, is formed with a reinforced portion made of a reinforcing fiber member at least on a part of one surface between inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the inner rim section 2, so as to enhance rigidity of the inner rim section 2. Carbon fibers or aramid fibers are employed for the reinforcing fiber member.
