Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively prevent a wheel from being buried into mud in the wheel provided with plural lugs on its ring-body covering an annular rim and made of elastic material by forming swelling parts swelling widthwise in right and in left directions of the rim integrally with the ring body.
CONSTITUTION: A front wheel 3 or a rubber-baked wheel better suited to riding four wheel transplanting machines has three spokes 7 radially attached to a central boss 6 along the circumferential direction, and is provided with a ring- body 9 made of elastic material such as rubber, which serves as a cover of a rim 8 welded on the tips of the spokes 7. On the ring-body 9, lugs 10 projected outward in the radial direction are provided contiguously to each other in the circumferential direction, and further, in this case, swelling parts 12 swelling widthwise in right and left directions of the rim 8 are formed integrally with the ring-body 9. The swelling parts 12 are formed into oblong, elliptical contour- shape, as shown in an imaginary line A, and the swelling parts 12 are formed so as to be thicker than the thicknesses D1 and D2 of the intermediate parts between the radial outside parts and inside positions of the ring-body 9 and the swelling parts 12.
