Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to use for tyre provided with toe for retaining bead by providing a groove for engaging with the tyre toe inside the axis direction of the bead seat and forming a bead retaining part constituted of a hump having the specified height between the groove and the bead seat. CONSTITUTION:A steel ring 6 is welded to the upper fringe of the groove wall 4, outside in the axis direction, of a groove 3 provided inside a bead seat 1 and projected in the radiative direction upward from the face of the bead seat adjacent to the ring 6 so as to form a hump having the height of 1-3mm. And surface 7 with steep inclination is formed above the groove side on the outside in the axis direction. By this constitution, it is used both for TD tyre and normal tyre.
