Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel shape measurement device and wheel shape measurement method, capable of accurately measuring a wheel shape by improving detection accuracy of a wheel position.SOLUTION: A wheel shape measurement system includes two optical sensors 151a, 152a. With addition and subtraction of the light receiving amounts of the optical sensors, it is detected that a laser stripe beam is radiated toward the center of a wheel. Consequently, even in a case where reflection light from the wheel is spread or there is disturbance light not associated with the laser stripe beam, accuracy of central position detection is improved. As a result, a wheel shape can be accurately measured.
