Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel for a steel vehicle capable of causing rainbow color on a smooth metal cutting surface.SOLUTION: In a state in which a wheel for a steel vehicle is rotated around its center axial line, by moving a cutting tool in a radial direction of the wheel while contacting a tip end nose 62a of a tip of the cutting tool against a design surface of the wheel, the design surface is cut to provide an annular decorative surface region 22x(13x). Many cutting groove surfaces 101 are formed in the decorative surface region. Since the tip end nose 62a draws a convex hyperbolic line, a profile of a cross section along radial direction of the wheel forms a concave hyperbolic line in the cutting groove surface 101. A ridge line 102 is formed at an intersection part of the cutting groove surface 101 adjoining in the radial direction of the wheel. The cutting groove surface 101 and the ridge line 102 constitute a reflection type diffraction grating 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
