Abstract:
To efficiently exchange the heat of a lubricant in a casing while suppressing the size enlargement of an axle device, the lowering of assembling workability and an increase of a cost.SOLUTION: A casing 13 in which a lubricant 38 is stored includes a differential case 14 for accommodating a differential mechanism 21 therein, and having an opening part 14A at its upper part, and a lid body 15 for blocking the opening part 14A. A flow-in port 45 for making air as fluid flow into the casing 13, and a flow-out port 46 for making the air flow out of the casing 13 to the outside are formed at the lid body 15. A fluid conduction pipe 39 extending up to a lower side with respect to a liquid level S of the lubricant 38, having an immersion region E which is immersed in the lubricant 38, and making air circulate therein via the flow-in port 45 and the flow-out port 46 in a state of being isolated from the lubricant 38 is attached to a lower face 15B of the lid body 15 of the casing 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
