PURPOSE: To provide a wheel which has the same suspension characteristic and shock absorbing characteristic as those of the conventional pneumatic tire, and has a friction surface separated from an element for suspension/shock absorbing.

CONSTITUTION: A rubber elastic assembly 6 is provided between the center hub of a wheel and an annular rigid outer rim. Each support assembly 6 includes the coaxial first support member 15 and second support member 19 arranged opposite to a rubber elastic element 14. The first support member 15 is cup- shaped and engaged with a truncated conical surface of the element 14. The second support member 19 is inclined equally about its axis and projected like a truncated cone, and further engaged with a recess in the element 14.
