To obtain a wheel with a magnet which can accurately and reliably retain the holding position of the magnet.

A meter indicating mechanism 11 of such measuring instruments as a water meter is shown in the sectional diagram. Although no illustration is given, the meter indicating mechanism 11 is provided with a mechanism in which a vane wheel for measurement is rotated by a fluid to be measured which flows under an outer case 6. A wheel 20 with a magnet rotating with the vane wheel by the action of a magnet coupling is mounted in the center of the outer case 6. The rotation of the wheel 6 is transmitted to a digit wheel 30 in an integrating indication mechanism through the medium of a gear mechanism 40. A digit wheel pinion 31 interlocks a plurality of digit wheels 30. An upper glass plate 7 and a packing 8 are shown in the diagram. A magnet 50 is provided to a hub 27 in a gear 20 and retained by crashing and caulking an outer rib by heat or ultrasound. A caulking part 22 is shown in the diagram.
