Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily discharge a treating liquid and improve the strength of a rim without injuring appearance by inwardly rolling in the outer periphery of a rim flange, in the wheel of a four-wheeled car, etc. made by molding a metal plate. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral parts of the flanges 2' on the both sides of a rim 1' made by molding an aluminum alloy plate, are inwardly rolled 6 into a hollow cylinder, while forming the inner surface of the flange 2' into a flat face. By this construction, the rolled part 6 serves as a reinforcing rib, improving the strength of the rim 1'. Also, it is possible to make a treating liquid which entered the rolled part 6, flow out from a gap 7 by inverting the rim 1'. Further, the rolled part 6 is covered by a mounted tire, preventing its appearance from being injured.
