To get on/off a wheelchair by pivotally attaching a running board of a size, which can be housed on the floor surface of the entrance of the vehicle by fitting in the state of the same surface, to a vehicle body in the state of being freely rotatable and constituting the running board to be in a using state like a slope by reversing so as to apply to a mo-step vehicle.
In order to arrange a running board 3 at the entrance of a vehicle body 1 like a slope, the running board 3 whose horizontal width is equivalent to the inner size of the entrance is fixed with hinges 7 in the state of being reversible between its housing state and using state. In order that the inclination of a slope in this using state may be not larger than about 14°, the depth size of the board 3 is set. Light alloy such as aluminum which is rigid and can be reduced in weight is used for the board 3. An orifice damper 10 which gives appropriate resistance when the board 3 is turned to prevent rapid turn is attached to hinges 7. Thus, it is possible to safely and surely get on and off the wheelchair.
