To firmly fix a wheelchair housed in a vehicle, at a predetermined position through a simple operation.
A wheelchair fixing device 2 includes an electric winch 3 disposed forward of the floor F of a housing part 1a. A belt member 31 with a locking part 31a formed at one end is provided in the electric winch 3 such that the belt member 31 can be removed or inserted. The electric winch 3 pulls up a wheelchair 10 into the housing part 1a from the ground G through a slope 1d by pulling up the belt member 31 while the locking part 31a is locked to the frame 10a of the wheelchair 10. A locking member 4 is projected from the back of the floor F of the housing part 1a. A bridge member 5 is stretched in a frame 10b in the lower part of the wheelchair 10. The bridge member 5 is tightly locked on the locking member 4 from the back of the vehicle during pulling up the wheelchair 10 into the housing part 1a by pulling up the electric winch 3.
