Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair aid which enables a user to have a shampoo in a barber shop or a beauty salon by utilizing a wheelchair as is that the user uses daily.SOLUTION: The wheelchair aid A assists the behavior of a wheelchair user in cooperation with a robot R that has a pair of rod-like arms. The aid includes: a bottom plate 10 that is made a size for placing a wheelchair; side plates 20 that are arranged upright from both side ends of the bottom plate 10; front wheel stoppers 30 that are arranged in the front end between both side plates 20, 20 and that stop the front wheels of a wheelchair; and rear wheel stoppers 40 that are arranged in the rear end between both side plates 20, 20 and that stop the rear wheels of a wheelchair. The side plate 20 is provided with a front projection 22 that is installed in the front part and a rear projection 23 that is installed in the rear part. The front projection 22 has a through-hole 22a in which one arm of the robot R is put through, while the rear projection 23 has a through-hole 23a in which the other arm of the robot R is put through. The rear wheel stoppers 40 is designed to form a rampway in getting on and off during the use of the wheelchair aid A of a wheelchair.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
