Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comfortably cope with a visitor using a wheelchair by arranging modesty panels under a top plate obliquely from a viewpoint of a plane and making it possible to enter deep sides of the modesty panels by the visitor riding the wheelchair.
SOLUTION: A modesty panel 4 is obliquely mounted under a top plate 1 by locating the one side on this side of a left side leg member 2 or a right side leg member 3 and locating the other side on the depth side of the right side leg member 3 or the left side leg member 2 in the same way. As for the modesty panel 4, a plurality of modesty panels 4 whose oblique directions from a viewpoint of a side 1a of a visitor are different are prepared or a plurality of modesty panels 4 which are symmetrically and obliquely with respect to two sides 1a, 1b of the top plate 1 are prepared, and the modesty plates 4 are used by being arranged in parallel by making the directions of the modesty panels 4 alternate or by being arranged in parallel by making the directions of the modesty panels 4 the same. By using the modesty panels 4 in this way, effective space at the foot of a visitor using a wheelchair can be secured without changing the whole the depth.
