To provide a wheelchair housing apparatus for vehicle with a very simple structure which can house the wheelchair on the roof top of a vehicle without wetting a disabled user and the vehicle under the rain.

This apparatus has a device body 5 which houses a folded wheelchair 20, mounting means 2 and 3 for mounting the device body 5 on the roof top of a vehicle A, a slider 7 to be freely advanced to or retracted from the device body 5, wheelchair lifting means 10, 10a and 13 to lift or lower the wheelchair 20 at a mounting/dismounting opening B provided on the slider 7, a wheelchair folding means 13 to fold the wheelchair 20 by interlocking with a lifting action of the lifting means, a wheelchair holding body 12 which holds the folded wheelchair and mounted freely rotatably on the slider 7, and attitude changing means 10, 10a, 13 and 14 to change a housing attitude by turning the wheelchair holding body 12 together with the wheelchair 20. The slider 7 is covered with a waterproof cover 16.
