Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wheelchair protection device capable of ensuring safety for use of a vehicular wheelchair loading and unloading device.
CONSTITUTION: Belts 13 and 13 releasably wound and energized in a winding direction around a belt take-up device mounted on occupant protection rods 8 and 8 are drawn out, and the ends thereof are engaged with and supported on a wheelchair 20. In this state, the wheelchair 20 moves tY(bd clvj' on a slope member 6 laid between a vehicular floor 2 and the road. As a result, even if an assistant becomes unable to operate the wheelchair 20 during a travel on the slope member 6, the wheelchair 20 thereon is prevented from moving down.
