A wheelchair is provided with a pair of upper rails 16 and a pair of lower rails 19, first rotatable rollers 12A on both sides, and also a seat 12 movable guided by the pair of upper rails 16, and second rotatable rollers 14A on both sides, and a movable member 14 moving by being guided by a pair of lower rails 19, a foot board 13 fitted to the front end of the movable member 14, and a gear wheel 8 connected and rotated by a driving means 9. An upper rack 8A is integrally fitted to the rear of the seat 12, and a lower rack 8B is integrally fitted to the surface of the movable member 14, and also the gear wheel 8 is arranged between the upper rack 8a and the lower rack 8B.
