Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whistle that enables rescue to be requested without fail in an emergency irrespective of the state of the person needing rescue.SOLUTION: A whistle is equipped with a sounding part, a memory and a transmitter. When the whistle is blown in an emergency, the sounding part issues a sound to ask people around for help. At the same time, the blowing of the whistle is detected, and information stored in the memory including a serial number is sent by the transmitter to a base station. As not only the whistle sound but also a radio message requesting rescue is transmitted, a rescue can still be requested even if it becomes impossible to blow the whistle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
