Abstract:
PURPOSE:To utilize light from a subject field and illumination light and to obtain correct white balance by guiding light in from the front surface and top surface of a camera. CONSTITUTION:A light diffusing plate D, a lenticular lens C, and an infrared-ray cutting filter IF are arranged on the front of a camera body successively from outside and external light is incident on a photodetecting element R through those three layers. The element R consists of a color separation filter and a photo-conductive element, and photoconductors Rr and Rga, Rb, and Rgb are formed on substrates Br and Bb; and a red transmission filter Fr is arranged in front of the element Rr, a blue transmission filter Fb is arranged in front of the Rb, and a green transmission filter Fg is arranged in common to the Rga and Rgb. The diffusing plate D is formed along from the front of the camera to the top surface and light beams from them are mixed and incident on the element R.
