Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain white balance correction excellent in a visual sense by providing a control characteristic limited by a different color temperature to a gain control circuit of each color in the case of white balance correction. CONSTITUTION:A control signal supply means supplying a control signal giving a control characteristic limited at a different color temperature is provided to gain control circuits 3, 4 of each color controlling the gain of a signal line of each color. That is, a signal Rcont limit circuit 12r and a signal Bcont limit circuit 12b are provided, voltages Va, Vb are inputted to the limit circuit 12b to decide a limit voltage of the signal Bcont and voltages Vc, Vd are inputted to the limit circuit 12r to decide a limit voltage of the signal Rcont. Thus, the gain of the signal line of each color is limited by a different color temperature. Then excellent white balance with less mis-correction visually is obtained.
