Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably form a dry space part by eliminating the deviation and deformation of a filler for a white-plume preventive cooling tower.
SOLUTION: A filler block 10 of each stage is fixed to a fixed structure part such as a cooling tower body, and at the same time heat exchange plates 12B... for composing dry spaces 14 and 14 of the filler blocks 10 and 10 of upper and lower stages are connected by three connection pieces 21, 22, and 23. The sealing groove of an upper-side connection piece is sealed to the lower- end of the dry space formation heat exchange plate 12B of the upper-stage filler block 10. On the other hand, the sealing groove of a lower-side connection piece is sealed to the upper-end of the dry space formation heat exchange plate 12B of the lower-stage filler block 10, the insertion piece of a middle connection piece is inserted into the fitting reception of the upper-side connection piece for flexibly connecting, the insertion piece of the lower-side connection piece is inserted into the fitting reception of the middle connection piece for flexibly connecting, and upper and lower dry spaces 14 and 14 are connected.
