Title:
WHOLE APERTURE INTERLEAVING-TYPE SPACE SUPERIMPOSITION BEAM GENERATING MICROSTRIP ANTENNA SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2506559
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a transmission/reception antenna system for keeping required 60dB separation.
CONSTITUTION: Transmission and reception microstrip antenna 28 and 30 are provided with an array of respective radiation patch elements. Power is supplied from the one end parts 18 and 20 in the respective antennas, so as to form the four beams by the respective antennas. A beam pitch angle is introduced into the respective antennas in order to reduce couplings between adjacent lines. Therefore, room for interleaving the antenna is given in a common rectangular aperture. Thus, independent supplies are executed in the mutually opposed end parts in the aperture. A separating means 32 is arranged in order to reduce a mutual coupling between the transmission antenna 28 and the reception antenna 30.
