Title:
WICK ELEVATING AND DESCENDING TYPE KEROSENE BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6373007
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit gas, generated from a wick upon extinguishing operation, to be induced into a fuel tank without necessitating a timer circuit, by a method wherein the thermal electromotive force of a thermoelectric converting element is supplied to an inducing device upon extinguishing fire when the wick is descended.

CONSTITUTION: A wick elevating and descending type kerosene stove, capable of moving a wick 11 up-and-down between a wick guiding inner tube 12 and a wick guiding outer tube 13, is constituted of an inducing device 27, inducing gas, generated from the wick upon extinguishing operation, into a fuel tank 10, a thermoelectric converting element 36, generating a thermal electromotive force by the heat of a combustion tube 4, and a microswitch 20, supplying the thermal electromotive force of the converting element 36 to the inducing device 27 when the wick is descended. The microswitch 26 is closed when the wick 11 is descended, therefore, the inducing device 27 is operated by the electromotive force of the thermoelectric converting element 36 during a time when the combustion tube 4 is hot even after extinguishing and gas, generated from the wick 11, is induced into the tank 10 whereby the gas is liquefied in accordance with the cooling of the gas and offensive smell will never be prevailed in a room.
