PURPOSE: To achieve miniaturization and make possible close-up photographing of 0.35m by providing the front group being the devergent lens group of 4-element constitution of positive, negative, negative and positive and the rear group being the convergent lens group of 5-element constitution of positive, positive, positive, nagetive and positive subsequently from the object side and letting the respective lens satisfy the specific conditions.

CONSTITUTION: The front group is constituted by 4 elements of single lenses, a positive lens l1, a negative meniscus lens l2 being convex on the object side, a negative lens l3 and a positive lens l4 whose face on the object side assumes a slightly strong convex, subsequently from the object side. The rear group is constituted by 5 elements of single lenses, a positive lens l5, a positive lens l6 whose face on the object side assumes a slightly strong convex, a positive lens l7 whose face on the object side assumes a slightly strong convex, a negative lens l8 whose face on the object side is strong concave and a biconvex positive lens l9. The respective lenses are so constituted as to satisfy the condition formulas 1 thru 11, whereby the close-up photography is made possible and various aberrations including distortion aberrations may be well corrected despite its small size.
