Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wide area type geothermal power generating system capable of positively taking geothermal energy from a wide area including a region where abundance presence of geothermal energy even if an area having abundance presence of geothermal energy at a high temperature geothermal region at a deep underground part and an area having no abundance presence of it are dispersed in a substantial horizontal direction, and capable of efficiently collecting geothermal energy dispersed at the deep underground location for power generation and utilizing it.CONSTITUTION: This invention relates to a system comprising a casing pipe including a heat exchanging part extending in a substantial horizontal direction or slant direction in an area more than about 50 m in a horizontal direction within a high temperature geothermal energy band at a deep underground part; a flowing pipe inserted into the casing pipe and flowing fluid acting as thermal medium in it to be heat exchangeable with the outer geothermal energy around it; and a power generating turbine driven by the geothermal energy got from the flowing pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
