Title:
WIDE-BAND RADIO WAVE ABSORBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2681450
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a more economical radio wave absorber which has a low height and can absorb a wider band of radio waves by controlling the apparent specific inductive capacity and relative permeability of a ferrite magnetic body to desired values while the thickness of the magnetic body is maintained at a value at which a relatively less number of manufacturing problems occurs.
CONSTITUTION: Laminated magnetic pillars having cruciform sections are repeatedly arranged on a reflecting plate at intervals (p). Each laminated magnetic pillar is constituted by piling up a second magnetic pillar formed by crossing magnetic plates having thicknesses of tm2, lengths L2, and heights h2 each other in a cross upon a first magnetic pillar formed by crossing magnetic plates having thicknesses tm1, lengths L1, and heights h1 each other in a cross. The thicknesses, lengths, and heights of the magnetic pillars are set to satisfy relations, L1=p, L2<p, tm1<p, tm2≤tm1, and tm1≤(h1+h2).
