Title:
WIDE BAND VOICE SIGNAL RESTORATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3230790
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To restore wide band voice signals without extracting the pitch of an input sound signal.
CONSTITUTION: Input narrow band signals are LPC-analyzed, quantized by a narrow band code book 103 and decoded by a wide band code book 105. The input narrow band voice signals are coded by a CELP type coding section 201. Then, a zero is added to every sample of the sound source signals used in the last by a zero stuffing process section 206. The zero stuffed signals are made into the sound source signals. Then, filter coefficients are set by a decoded spectrum. Finally, an LPC synthesis section 106 is used to synthesize wide band voice signals.
