Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a strength against collision with a hard ground or obstacle in a wide grab bucket for a thin layer.SOLUTION: A wide grab bucket 10 for a thin layer comprises: a pair of shells 1, 1 arranged to face each other; a main shaft 4 which is a fulcrum for opening/closing of the pair of shells 1, 1; a lower frame 3A; an upper frame 2A; and a pair of tie-rods 5, 5 respectively having lower ends connected with connection points on the respective shells equidistant from the main shaft 4 and upper ends connected with the upper frame 2A. The wide grab bucket 10 opens and closes the pair of shells 1, 1 by vertically moving the lower frame 3A with respect to the upper frame 2A. A plate member forming the shell 1 comprises: a shell main plate 1A around the main shaft 4; a pair of shell arm plates 1B1, 1B2 superposed on both surfaces of the shell main plate 1A, respectively; and at least one shell reinforcement plate 1C superposed on one surface of one shell arm plate 1B1.
