Title:
WIDENED ROAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3710434
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the width of a road while reducing temporary work and dangerous construction on a slope by allowing the construction of sediment of a widened part with a simpler earth retaining member.
SOLUTION: A pile 4 is erected by setting its lower part into the valley side slope of the road. An anchor 2 is fixed to the existing road 1, and the end part is connected to the pile 4. A panel 8 is disposed behind the pile 4 to perform banking between the natural ground of the slope. Since the anchor 2 is disposed using the existing road, construction on the slope is facilitated, and a lightweight banking material is used to reduce load applied to the pile 4 and the panel 8.
