Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable width joined fabric fused using an ultrasonic wave.SOLUTION: The width joined fabric (1) includes a width joined part (40) formed by including at least a first junction (41) which is fused using an ultrasonic wave along a first trajectory (S1) and a second junction (42) which is fused using an ultrasonic wave along a second trajectory (S2) that is parallel to the first trajectory on an overlapping part (30) in which a first end part of a first fabric (10) comprising a first thermoplastic resin and a second end part of a second fabric (20) comprising a second thermoplastic resin are overlapped in a facing direction. The first fabric and the second fabric are joined in width by the width joined part. The width joined fabric is free from peel-off and separation at the junctions even when a strong tensile force acts, is very high in strength, and is sufficiently practical. The fusion using an ultrasonic wave is executed using a well-known ultrasonic sewing machine and the like.
