Abstract:
To improve stability of a mechanism with a width reducing press of a simple structure.
One crankshaft 2 has eccentric portions in two directions, and when the crankshaft 2 rotates, members linked to the eccentric portions in two directions mutually approach or leave. When dies 14 installed to the members come near to each other, pressing is done. With such a width reducing press, one approaching or leaving member is guided by the other member. Thus the stability of the mechanism is improved with a simple structure.
