PURPOSE: To easily input characters with a will transmitting device which transmits the will by converting inputted English characters to KANA (Japanese syllabary) characters and displaying these characters.
CONSTITUTION: A key input section 1 of an input/output device 10 is constituted of a QUERTY keyboard (keyboard for alphabet). The KANA character strings are divided by each number of pieces corresponding to the respective English character keys of the key input section 1 and are selectively displayed in the keyboard display region of a display section 9 of a data processor (PC). The control section 7 of data processor PC converts the English characters to the KANA characters currently displayed in the position of the keyboard display region corresponding to the positions of the operated English characters and displays these characters in a formed sentence display region.
