Title:
WIND-PERMEABLE PATTERNED WOVEN FABRIC AND WEAVING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007182642
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a wind-permeable patterned woven fabric giving neat and light image, suitable for use as both obverse and reverse sides of curtain cloth or the like, and also suitable for use as one side of wall cloth, surface trim cloth, bag surface cloth, upholstery cloth, etc.

The wind-permeable patterned woven fabric is obtained by the following procedure. Thick warps 10a with a fineness of 110 dtex or less and thin warps 10 m with a fineness being less than half that of the thick warps are alternately arranged with such a warp density as to be 1,500 or greater in the warps' cover factor, and multiple kinds of wefts thicker than the thick warps are successively woven with such a weft density as to be 1,500 or greater in the wefts' cover factor in warp openings formed by individually selecting the warps, thus weaving the objective patterned fabric with dividedly woven into multiple areas representing wind-permeable texture design. The respective cover factors of the warps and the wefts of the upper cloth 11 and lower cloth 12 in the respective wind-permeable areas and the warp and weft cover factor totaling the warp cover factor and the weft cover factor of the upper cloth 11 are varied, thus developing wrinkle-erected patterns on the surface of the final woven fabric through the cover factor difference among the multiple areas.
