To provide a wind power device which utilizes the characteristic of a Sabonius airfoil at the time of startup of rotation or a breeze, and which can effectively convert rotation energy of a Darius airfoil and the Sabonius airfoil to electrical energy regardless of the strength of a wind velocity.
The Darius airfoil and the Sabonius airfoil are provided so that the rotational direction of the rotary shaft for the Darius airfoil and the rotary shaft of the rotary shaft for the Sabonius airfoil are opposite each other. Then a gearing mechanism is provided which operates and connects the rotary shaft for the Darius airfoil to the rotary shaft for the Sabonius airfoil so that the rotational directions about an axis are made opposite to each other. Then magnetic substances are provided to one side of the rotary shafts for the Darius airfoil and the Sabonius airfoil, and coils are provided to the other side of the rotary shafts for the Darius airfoil and the Sabonius airfoil.
