To provide a wind power generation facility on the ocean easily and safely installed on the ocean, and also having such an advantage that maintenance is easily performed.
This wind power generation facility on the ocean includes: a floating body 2; a deck 3 set on the upper portion of the floating body; mooring ropes 4, 4... connected to the deck 3; a tower 5 disposed upright on the deck 3; and a nacelle 6 and a plurality of wind mill blades 7, 7... installed on the top of the tower 5. The floating body 2 has a spar-type floating structure composed of a lower concrete floating body structure section 2A in which a plurality of concrete precast cylindrical bodies 12 is tiered in a height direction and the precast cylindrical bodies 12 are tightly linked to each other by prestressing steel 16 so as to be integrated and an upper steel floating body structure section 2B provided adjacently to the upper side of the lower concrete floating body structure section 2A, and having a bottomed hollow portion with an upper end opened. At least during construction, the tower 5 is freely lifted up and down by a tower lifting equipment 8 provided on the deck 3, and stored inside of the floating body 2.
