Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generation facility and an operation method for the facility, capable of supplying power to an apparatus configuring a wind power generation device in an emergency without using an uninterruptible power supply.SOLUTION: A wind power generation facility comprises: at least one wind power generation device; a DC power transmission line for supplying a grid with power from the at least one wind power generation device; a sending converter for converting AC power from the at least one wind power generation device to DC power to supply the DC power to the DC power transmission line; a receiving converter for converting the DC power from the DC power transmission line to AC power to supply the AC power to the grid; and a charge/discharge cable connected to the at least one wind power generation device. The charge/discharge cable is configured so as to be charged with power from the at least one wind power generation device, and be discharged for the at least one wind power generation device when an abnormal event occurs in the grid.
