Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generator capable of keeping the influence of lightning on blades to a minimum and ensuring high reliability.SOLUTION: There is provided a wind power generator comprising: a tower installed on a land or an ocean and serving as a support pillar of a generator; a nacelle provided on the tower and including the generator; and a rotor provided on one end of the nacelle, converting received wind to rotational energy, and constituted by a hub and blades. The wind power generator comprises: a lightning receiving section provided near a tip end of each blade and receiving lightning during the falling of the lightning; and a metal foil provided on a surface of a rear end of each blade and electrically connected to the lightning receiving section.
