Abstract:
The windscreen wiper has two or more blades coupled together, and guided, at a constant distance apart, over the windscreen. The blades are coupled together by a lightweight profiled section extending in their lengthwise direction, typically via a set of levers hinging on the latter. The section can be a bridge-piece with two lengthwise members joined by cross-members, the latter forming guides deflecting the air flow away from the windscreen, with upstream edges towards and downstream edges away from the latter.
