Abstract:
The surfboard has a central slot for inserting a centreboard, with the underside of the slot having flanges (4) to form a shallow control fin (4). This serves to hold the centreboard upright, when used. The surfboard allows improved lateral control. Additional stability is provided by downward facing flanges at the side of the board.
