Abstract:
To fluctuate the wind direction on a main air flow over a wide range in a wind tunnel.
Numerous openings 10a, 10b are placed on both side walls 2a, 2b constituting a measurement chamber 1 of a wind path 4 of a wind tunnel, wherein air flows 6a, 6b with varying directions are supplied through the respective openings 10a, 10b orthogonal to a main air flow 5 by alternately operating fans 8a, 8b to fluctuate wind directions of the main air flow in the measurement chamber 1. Since the openings 10a, 10b are provided over a full length of the measurement chamber 1, wind directions of the main air flow can be fluctuated over a wide range of the measurement chamber.
