To provide a windbreak fence which can be attached easily to an already existing object.

A windbreak fence is provided with supports 3, fixed windbreak panels 5 installed to the supports 3, and movable windbreak panels 7 provided oppositely to the panels 5 between the supports 3 on one side faces of the panels 5. The fence is also provided with racks 19 vertically installed to either the supports 3 or movable windbreak panels 7, gears 15 which are engaged with the racks 19 provided on the opposite sides, and connecting brackets 12. The movable panels 7 are moved upward against the fixed panels 5 by rotating the gears 15 and, in addition, the supports 3 are fixed to already existing columns 6 with the connecting brackets 12.
