To provide the subject auxiliary device designed to enable an actuator for driving the manual drive system of a winder to be mounted even without the need of demounting a manual handle.

This winding auxiliary device is so designed that a speed reducer integrated with an electric motor 7 is mounted integrally with an angular bracket 8; a horizontally extended circular rod-shaped 2nd holding unit 10 is fixed on the upright portion of the bracket 8; while a U-shaped elastic 1st holding unit 11 is fixed on the left frame 1 of the loom; wherein the 2nd holding unit 10 is forced into the U-shaped receiving portion of the 1st holding unit 11 and retained by the aid of the resilient force of the 1st holding unit; thereby the electric motor 7 is mounted on the frame 1 by cantilever-fashion. By the above-mentioned design, the clutch piece at axial end above a manual winding handle 4 of the drive shaft of a manual drive system is engaged with another clutch piece fixed on the output shaft of the speed reducer, enabling the drive shaft to be driven by the electric motor 7.
