PURPOSE: To provide a winding component, provided with a ferrite core, which prevents the ferrite core from being cracked when the winding component including the ferrite core is impregnated with, and cast by, a resin, to provide its manufacturing method, to provide a core cover for the winding component and to provide a core provided with a cover for the winding component.

CONSTITUTION: The winding component is provided with a ferrite core 10, with a cover 11 which is applied to nearly the whole surface of the ferrite core and which is formed of a low-hardness and high-elasticity resin, with a winding 13 which is mounted on, and attached to, the ferrite cover from the upper part of the applied cover and with an insulator 16 which is formed of a resin which is impregnated and cast from the upper part of the mounted and attached winding including the ferrite core.
