A winding device, wherein a band work 10 wound out of a supply drum 1 is wound on a winding drum 2 while being applied prescribed tension by a level different roller 3 has a work supply guide 20 arranged between the level difference roller 3 and the winding drum 2 with a tip guide 5 directed to the winding drum side and rockingly supported. Even if a distance between the level difference roller 3 and the winding drum 2 is longer, the dead weight of the work 10 at this part is borne and supported by the work supply guide 20. When the work 10 is wound on the winding drum 2 in sequence, the work 10 always delivered out of a moving guide 4 is kept horizontally tangent to a winding circle via the tip guide 5 and the non-uniformly tensile force of the work 10 is avoided, resulting in the stable quality work 10 wound.
